JOSH KAPLAN

Josh, most well known as Kappy, was born and raised in Montville, Connecticut. Very early on he knew that he had a deep passion for sound, music and putting on a show. As a young adult he dreamed of working with big production companies and being a sound engineer. What he didn't know was that God had better plans for him. During this time in his life, Kappy was lost in his dreams and lost in a bottle. Alcohol, drugs and being the life of the party consumed him. He was hopelessly bound to his addiction while trying to find purpose and acceptance from the world. In June of 2016 he finally decided that something needed to change. He knew that the only way to get and stay sober was through Christ. Two months into his sobriety, Christ broke his chains, he found Rev and has been here ever since. Kappy now knows that God had every intention for him to lead His people in worship by using his gifts and talents in running sound. His heart burns to help the sanctuary give you a glimpse of what heaven sounds like, on earth as it is in heaven. He met his bride, Faith, through serving on the worship team together. They have two of the most beautiful miracle babies and four heaven babies they can't wait to meet one day.
