Drew hawthorne

Drew grew up in Hadlyme CT. He had gone to church all his life and always believed that there was a God, but it never went further than going to an event and knowing God existed. In 2013 He started coming to REV with his family, but it wasn’t until the end of his senior year in 2016 where he started coming willingly on his own. Getting more involved in the Youth Group, Drew began his interest in media with creating sermon graphics and videos for youth nights. After attending a Youth Conference in the summer of 2016, God had given Drew a new passion for Jesus and a calling for the Church. He then spent the next 2 years at Awakening Leadership Center in Smithfield RI, majoring in Creative Media. There he was put to work, developing his skills as a creative with hands on experience of weekend services, large events, and everything in-between. Something he was told there was “The message of the Gospel is constant, but how we present it to people is always updating.” Drew’s main goal is to connect people to the Church through the advancements of media, from a church service to a post on social media, he hopes that it will draw people closer to God.
